The map style picker has more options than you’d guess

Under Select Map Style, there are more choices than just the default
day/night view: Day/Night Ocean Detail, Day/Night Plain Ocean,
Satellite Day Only, Seasonal Ocean Detail, Seasonal Plain Ocean,
Political, and Outline. If the default view feels too busy or too
plain for what you’re using Helioclock for, it’s worth cycling through
these – Political and Outline in particular strip things down if
you mainly care about the data panels rather than the map imagery
itself.
