RTL-SDR timing out

Howdy!

Just got the Aspire box. All set up with no issues. Now trying to enable a RTL-SDR V3 which is timing out when I click the SDR button.

With the auto-updates, I don’t want to risk digging into it, but can if more info is needed or there’s something to try on the back end.

Glad the setup went smoothly otherwise. The RTL-SDR V3 timeout is a known issue with some dongles that requires a short repair script to install the necessary drivers and kernel configuration. It takes about 5 minutes and requires running a couple of commands in a terminal window.

A couple of quick questions before I send you the details:

1. Are you comfortable opening a terminal on the unit and running a script from the command line?
2. Do you have another computer on the same network you could use to SSH into the unit, or would you prefer to work directly on the unit’s keyboard?

I’m comfortable working with linux. I used a keyboard/mouse for the initial setup, but would prefer SSH for the copypasta.
