My replacement mini sd card came today. Inserted into my Rasp Pi 4B and this time it got past the Ubuntu splash screen and appeared to be loading normally. It connected to my Lan and pulled an ip address but now seems to be stuck on a very fuzzy Map Loading screen. The time in the upper right shows all zeros and is not changing – so now what ? Be nice if we could attach pics or screen shots here – couldn’t figure out the IMG option
73 Paul w2eck –If it’s the Pi 4, it may be the power supply that you’ve got it connected to. We have discovered from a few users that Pi 4s are notoriously unreliable when it comes to running smoothly if they don’t have enough power.
You need to have a fully capable 3 amp 5 volt power supply for it. It has to be one that is officially sanctioned by Raspberry Pi. You can’t just plug in any USB power and expect it to work, unfortunately.
