First step for almost anything: hard refresh

Do a Ctrl+Shift+R key combination from the main console screen connected to the device running Helioclock.

This is the single most useful troubleshooting step and the first
thing to try whenever something looks wrong – stale map imagery,
outdated data, missing panels, or a layout that looks off after an
update.

Ctrl+Shift+R forces the browser to discard its cached copy of the page
and re-fetch everything fresh from the server. Works on the kiosk
display itself, remote browsers, phones, and tablets. On a Mac, use
Cmd+Shift+R instead.

If the sidebar specifically gets stuck in a weird state, try this
first – if it’s still stuck afterward, Alt+[ or Alt+] will toggle it
manually.
