Finding and accessing Helioclock on your network

Helioclock announces itself on your local network using mDNS, so in
most cases you can just go to:

http://helioclock.local:8080/

from any browser on the same network – phone, tablet, laptop, whatever
you’ve got – without needing to know the device’s actual IP address.
This works whether you’re running headless (checking in from another
device by choice) or you’ve got a display connected and just want to
also pull it up somewhere else.

If helioclock.local doesn’t resolve for some reason (some routers or
network setups don’t play well with mDNS), you can find the device’s
IP address directly through your router’s connected-devices list and
use that instead – http://[the IP address]:8080/.

Also some routers don’t allow bridging between WiFi and Ethernet.

If you have the Helioclock on WiFi and the PC on your Ethernet LAN, the subnetworks may be different.

Best practice is to have the HELIOCLOCK on the same WiFi or LAN network, not split.
