This release has new3 features and incorporates a number of fixes for errors reported by our customers. THANK YOU.
- Improved our guided first-run setup wizard (welcome, EULA, network, timezone)
- WiFi setup now includes a built-in network scan, find and select your network instead of typing it in
- Fixed WiFi connection reliability: passwords with special characters could get silently corrupted before reaching the network, and a previously failed connection attempt could permanently block future attempts to the same network
- Added a new filtering feature on the DX Cluster detail panel (see below)
- Fixed three bugs in the DX Cluster panel’s filter bar
Expanded DXCC prefix table data - Fixed inaccurate tooltip text on the bottom-bar WiFi status icon
- Added automatic rollback protection: if an update fails to start up correctly, the system reverts to the last known-good version on its own
- Fixed an error that could cause parts of the Admin page to fail to load
NEW The DX Cluster detail panel’s filter bar (in the full detail view, not the simple mini-panel preview) lets you narrow the live spot list by:
- Band — filter to one band or show all
- Country/entity (spotted station) and spotter country separately, so you can filter by who’s being spotted or who’s doing the spotting
- Continent
- CQ Zone and ITU Zone
- Approximate mode (CW/Phone/Digital) — inferred from frequency, since raw DX spots don’t carry a real mode field. It checks each band’s known digital calling frequency (e.g. 14074 kHz for 20m FT8) and falls back to a standard CW/phone band-plan split otherwise
- Time window — only show spots from the last N minutes
- Callsign search — a one-off text filter on the spotted callsign
- Watchlist — a separate, persistent list of callsigns or prefixes (prefix-matching, so “JA” matches “JA1ABC”) saved in the browser; matching spots get highlighted regardless of filters, and there’s a toggle to show only watchlist matches
