Neither the psk reporter layer or the panel are working for me. I have no error log related to psk reporter but I do have this line in the INFO tab in the logs:

    2026-10-04 00:04:00
    INFO
    PSKR
    Reports refreshed count:0 call:N3EMC

I was active on FT8 for quite a long time and there are many reports showing on PSK Reporter from the time I was active but nothing was showing up in Helioclock.

    Hi,

The log line “count:0 call:N3EMC” is actually useful — it means Helioclock successfully reached PSK Reporter and got a valid response, but that response contained zero reception reports for your callsign at that specific moment. It’s not a fetch error.

The most likely explanation is a timing mismatch. Helioclock queries PSK Reporter every 5 minutes, but only asks for reports from the last 30 minutes. The PSK Reporter website shows a much longer history, so you can see your earlier activity there even hours later. If you checked Helioclock after your FT8 session ended, or during a gap in transmissions long enough that no new spots had come in within the last 30 minutes, the query would legitimately return zero — even though the website still shows your earlier activity.

A quick test: next time you’re actively transmitting on FT8, leave Helioclock open and watch the PSK Reporter layer during your session rather than checking it afterward. Reports should appear within one to two 5-minute polling cycles of your first spots landing on PSK Reporter.

If you’re actively transmitting and still seeing count:0, let me know and we’ll dig deeper into whether something else is going on.

    Thanks for the reply,

The time seems ok on Helioclock’s end i.e the time at the top of the screen matches real time and NTP is syncing correctly according to the logs. If there is a time issue I’d lean more towards it being on psk reporter’s side.

I have been TX on FT8 for the past 2 hours on various bands and no joy with Helioclock showing anything so far. The log still shows the same message as I posted above but with current time stamps so it’s checking but isn’t receiving anything back or at least that is what it looks like to me. I can access pskreporter website from my network so I don’t think it’s a problem with DNS or networking from what I can tell. When I check the psk reporter site it shows my current spots for the last 2 hours and the last 24 hours.

    What I’ve tried so far:

Removed my callsign from Helioclock and re-added it and saved the settings.
Removed the PSKreporter panel and layers and re-added them.
Refreshed the Helioclock webpage (I am accessing it with Chrome) several times with the hard reset listed in another post. ctr-shift-r
Tried removing everything except pskreporter panels and layers from helioclock in case something was interfering with it working.

What I’ve done to Helioclock and what I have running: (might be excessive but I figure the more I list the more it might help)
I added my GPS coordinates to the 6th digit. I noticed this might have broke AQI since I have an error message with AQI with those coordinates not being valid but that is a seperate issue and I don’t want add to this post.
Added my callsign in caps and in lowercase.
Changed it to display my callsign on the top left.
    Changed font size to XXL
That is all of the changes I can think of that I made to the default settings
    Left Panels:
    Sunrise sunset
    Planets
    Earthquakes
    Lightning Scope
    Alert Scope
    Weather

    Right Panel:
    PSK Reporter
DX Cluster – No changes to the setting inside
    Best Band Now
    WSJT-X
    Prop Forecast

    Layers:
    NexRAD

    NWS Watches and Warns
    Trop Storms and Hurricanes
    ISS Ground Track
    NCDXF Beacons
    PSK REPORTER
    PSK REPORTER PATHS
    Earthquakes

    News feed:
Added a few RSS feeds and have a few of the default ones running. BTW I don’t think the AP feeds work anymore unless you’re getting them from somewhere besides AP. They seem to have stopped their RSS feeds recently.

These are the things I can remember that I’ve done to the default settings or customized for my use.

One other thing I tried was to put in different callsigns of people that I know were active at the same time I was on ft8 and were showing on PSK Reporter as active into Helioclock replacing my callsign. None of those showed up in Heliclock as reported on PSK Reporter.

Any update or suggestions as to what I should check or trouble shoot? I still can’t get PSK reporter to work.
